There is something deeply painful about asking a people to “deradicalize” while leaving the wounds that shaped their anger untouched.
You cannot bomb the grief out of a people. You cannot erase generations of displacement, occupation, loss, and humiliation and then wonder why they refuse to forget.
Palestinians do not need to be taught how to be human. The world needs to remember that they already are.
Perhaps true deradicalization begins not with demanding silence from the oppressed, but with ending the conditions that keep producing their pain.
Because peace cannot grow from a graveyard of unanswered suffering. It begins when justice finally becomes more than a word.
